This report presents a study of a mass recovery station. A mass recovery station comprises a storage area and a treatment area where excavated material is converted to usable material. This operating study describes the technical and economical conditions to run a mass recovery station. The main parts of this report are (a) description of the station in Upplands Vaesby (b) administration and economy (c) treatment of excavated material (d) operating conditions (e) product assortment (f) discussion of material stipulations in the Swedish specifications (g) mechanical equipment.
