This is a translation from German into French of Theme 2: Prevention and Treatment of Tracking, presented to the European Association of Asphalt 12th General Assembly, Berlin, 7 and 8 June 1979. The deformations of bituminous wearing courses, which occurred following the very hot summer in 1976 in Germany and other countries, led to several modifications of, additions and restrictions to the technical principles governing wearing courses. This report describes the new specifications for sub-bases, asphaltic concrete and gussasphalt wearing courses with a view to preventing tracking. (TRRL)
