GRANGER ROADS GEAR UP FOR LONG-TERM GROWTH

Grain traffic has been handled with new efficiency and in record volumes by midwestern railroads. Despite complications involved with the Russian embargo and development of new export patterns, railroads and shippers are cooperating and have been given some freedom from ICC regulation. Even with immediate problems, shippers are optimistic about the future of agricultural industries and railroads are expecting to share in resultant prosperity.
