DESIGN OF THE LININGS OF TWO NEIGHBOURING CIRCULAR TUNNELS SUBJECTED TO SEISMIC FORCES
RASCHET OBDELOK DVUKH BLIZKORASPOLOZHENNYKH KRUGOVYKH TONNELEJ NA SEJSMICHESKIE VOZDEJSTVIYA
The design method proposed is based on the determination of the most unfavourable state of stress in each section of the structures (two identical parallel tunnels) for different combinations of seismic waves. The stresses are determined from exact solutions obtained by the di Sherman Method for the quasistatic two-dimensional contact problems of an elastic medium. The computer model to solve the problem is given together with an example of calculation.
