ROCK CUTTINGS FOR RAILWAYS--CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND GEOLOGY
This paper deals with the interaction of construction methods, design and geology exemplified in the construction of the standard gauge railway in Western Australia. Two case histories show the influence of folding, faulting and construction methods in the case of slope failure and slope stability.
