RECHERCHES FRANCAISES SUR LES FONDATIONS SUPERFICIELLES 1969-1976
This general report in two parts is an attempt at classifying research carried out in France; it is accompanied by a brief analysis of French publications on shallow foundations which appeared between 1969 and 1976. The various methods used by research workers to develop techniques or obtain numerical results are analyzed. The various cases likely to be of interest to engineers are discussed, and mention is made of corresponding work. (TRRL)
