DYNAMIC EXAMINATIONS AT POINTS WITH MOVABLE SWITCH DIAMOND

Experimental examination at a point with movable switch diamond R 65-1:11 with speeds up to 200 km/h has shown, that this construction is satisfactory in relation to strength and rigidity and in relation to riding comfort also. In order to build in the point in existing groups of scissor crossings, the switch diamond was shortened, without reducing strength and rigidity. From the dynamic examinations at the branch line of a point with movable switch diamond R 65-1:18 follows that it is possible to pass this point at 200 km/h in the main line and at 80 km/h in the branch line.
