ASSESSMENT OF BRAKING CHARACTERISTICS BY APPLICATION OF TEST BED MEASUREMENTS

BERECHNUNG VON BREMSKENNGROESSEN UNTER ANWENDUNG VO PRUEFSTANDMESSUNGEN

The article describes a new calculation process which makes it possible to assess from test bed data the braking distances and characteristics for any railway vehicle in operation. It gives the theoretical bases for the assessment process, from which the differential equations for braking when stopping are derived.
