TOTAL EVALUATION OF NOISE SITUATIONS RELATED TO EFFECT
ZUR WIRKUNGSBEZOGENEN GESAMTBEURTEILUNG VON LAERMSITUATIONEN
Intensive research into noise has considerably improved ways of predicting expected noise levels. A comparison of various publications on environmental planning shows that the assessment of alternative plans is often undertaken without consideration of the effects of noise loading. An attempt is made to analyze the benefits of evaluating noise in relation to its effects. The purpose of recommended values related to the decibel scale is also discussed.
