ALLOWABLE BENT-ANGLE OF LONG-SPANNED SUSPENSION BRIDGES DETERMINED BY RUNNING PROPERTY OF RAILWAY CARS
The problem of certifying the runnability of train on the angular bends has been investigated by the mathematical simulation analysis. The theoretical method used is a numerical analysis of the equations of motion with a finite amplitude, which has been developed by introducing the nonlinearity of the creep force and the wheel-flange impact action into the linear equations of motion with a very small amplitude used in the stability analysis of the snake motion.
