FILTRATIONS DANS LES CAVITES SOUTHERRAINES - APPLICATIONS A L'EPUISEMENT DES FOUILLES SUPERFICIS; 1ERE PARTIE: CAVITES SPHERIQUES

Part 1 establishes the fundamental relations expressing the rate of seepage in spherical underground cavities as a function of the head and water table characteristics, when the water table is located either in the mass or above the mass, and in the case where the terrain consists of two layers of varying permeability. The results are then applied to a three-course system, the outer layers of which have the same permeability and to the case of multiple cavities. Two methods are used in the study: integration of the LaPlace theory and theory of pictures. Numerical tables are appended to facilitate the use of the equations given.
