Demolition methods are grouped according to types of machine and technique used: (1) mechanical; (2) by means of blasting and gas explosion; (3) thermal. Selection criteria are analyzed according to the type of site where the method is going to be used. Mention is made of problems of safety, environment, removal of broken down concrete. (TRRL)
