SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE DREDGE DEVELOPED FOR USE IN OPEN SEA CONDITIONS
The paper reports on a design for a semi-submersible dredge developed at Netherlands Mineral Technological Institute. The hull was designed as a multiple, symmetrical underwater section with three equidistant columns and a fourth centrally-located column. This article deals with the fundamental aspects of the design as a whole and with one specific design in particular.
