RESPONSE TO OIL SPILLS IN THE ARCTIC ENVIRONMENT: A REVIEW

A review is presented of the response techniques that are applicable to oil spills in Arctic conditions, onshore and at sea. The fate of oil in these environments is briefly discussed, and resource considerations for responding to oil spills are outlined.
