HOVERCRAFT TECHNOLOGY READY FOR DREDGING APPLICATIONS

Refinement and improvement in the concept of using a hovercraft for dredging operations is discussed. The air cushion principle is explained with the aid of the diagram. The paper illustrates two platform sizes arranged for 50- and 200-ton payloads.
