MODEL TESTS PROJECTED DEEPENING OF BALTIMORE HARBOR CHANNELS
The paper reports a study on the effects of deepening the existing 42-foot navigation channels leading to Baltimore Harbor to 50 feet. The model study was conducted to examine what effect the enlarged channels would have upon tidal heights, velocities, and salinities.
