BARGAIN BOXES AND BOOBY PRIZES IN CARRIER'S ITALIAN DEPARTMENTS
The article sets out the results of a survey conducted by the journal into rates and services between Manchester and Milan. By comparing information obtainable from operators engaged in different transport modes, the conclusion drawn is that the container is the most economical method of moving unit loads between these two industrial cities. With containership services transit times likewise compare very favourably with those offered by the trailer.
