STUDY OF THE POTENTIAL TRANSIT MARKET FOR WORK AND SCHOOL TRIPS IN THE WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY AREA

The objective of the study described is to look at the travel behavior of workers and students in regards to their daily work and school trips. The main emphasis of the study was to investigate user attitudes towards the energy crisis and the effects of increased gasoline prices on travel behavior. The study focused upon workers and students in the New Center Area, Wayne State University main campus and the Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan.
