CRS (RESIDUARY-STABILITY COEFFICIENT) DIAGRAMS FOR DESIGN CALCULATIONS OF THE STABILITY OF SHIPS
A description is given of the development, at the Technical University of Denmark, of a fast diagrammatic method for determining MS, the geometrical part of a ship's stability lever (GZ=GM.sin x + MS, where x is the angle of hell. Also, diagrams are given for the contribution, to stability, of deckhouses and superstructures. The methods and diagrams are intended for use in design work.
