FUNDAMENTALS OF THE THEORY AND DESIGN OF A LINEAR SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR FOR HIGH-SPEED GROUND TRANSPORT
A simplified computational model of a linear synchronous motor containing no ferromagnetic elements is used as a basis for development of a theory and derivation of the basic laws determining the operation of such a motor in steady-state mode. A vector diagram is constructed. A numerical example is given.
