TEST SUBJECTS IN PRACTICAL TESTS ON ROAD VEHICLES. THE INFLUENCE OF ELECTRIC AIR IMPULSE FIELDS

PROBANDEN IM KRAFTFAHRZEUG-PRAXISTEST. EINFLUSS LUFTELEKTRISCHER IMPULSFELDER

Using full scale tests it is possible to clarify with the aid of objective measuring criteria, whether and to what extent improvements to performance in driving behaviour under the influence of artificial electric air impulse fields on drivers can be statistically obtained. The experimental group consisted of 240 male subjects aged 18 to 55 years. In total, approximately 700000 single measurements were taken and evaluated (basic statistical values, correlation of coefficients, variance analyses and co-variance analyses). The most pronounced effect of electric air impulse fields became evident in the increased performance and in the reduction in errors made in the attentiveness tests. The results of medical examinations showed no change in the appropriate physiological measurable variables under the influence of a field. A detailed discussion of the comprehensive results will appear in further published works. (TRRL)
