TESTS ON CONCRETE BEAMS IN COMBINED TORSION
The paper describes the tests carried out on twenty-four plain, reinforced and prestressed concrete beams under different combinations of biaxial bending moments, axial compression (prestress) and torsion. The ultimate strengths measured in the experiments have been compared with the calculated values based on a unified theory derived by a combination of the skew bending theory and the space truss theory.
