POZZOLANIC ACTIVITY
L'ACTIVITE POUZZOLANIQUE
Pozzolanic activity is due to a reaction of lime with products from the alkaline attack of acid silicates. This reaction results in hydrate compounds similar to those formed by the hydration of clinker and granulated slag. A physico-chemical process of the attack phase is suggested. It implies a theoretical possibility of pozzolanic activity in feldspars. (TRRL)
