FLEXSYT
FLEXSYT
This article describes the structure and the use of the traffic control-simulation package flexsyt. This is an acronym of: flexible-network-simulation-study-tool. The input data of the control program are based upon the principles of a traffic control language using formulas. This publication gives a brief view of the traffic models used. The results show that the principles of the program can be used for research into different intersection and traffic network systems. An example is given. Because of the techniques used the limits of computer time and computer memory have not yet been reached. Model validation is started. (Author/TRRL)
