REGIONAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT SCHEMES
LES SCHEMAS REGIONAUX DE TRANSPORT COLLECTIF
Regional public transport schemes are defined as reports outlining the medium-term trend of a number of proposals concerning the reorganization of and determining the level of service objectives for regional public transport services. Each element of the scheme is analyzed, and a description is given of the setting up of a regional scheme and of the role of pilot regions. A part of the article deals with the preliminary steps to take and the difficulties to solve when establishing a regional plan. (TRRL)
