OFFSHORE SAFETY AND FIRE PROTECTION: SUGGESTIONS FOR MAINTENANCE PROGRAM QUALITY CONTROL
To illustrate how the use of applicable rules can be a positive tool in maintaining quality control in maintenance programs, the paper examines two areas where underutilization of the rules in offshore fire and safety equipment maintenance program has been observed. The two examples are 1) fire equipment maintenance and 2) hydrogen sulphide equipment maintenance.
