NUMERICAL MODELS FOR REPRESENTING LIMIT STATE IN PLANE CONSOLIDATION AND COMPUTERIZED CALCULATIONS

MODELOWANIE WARUNKOW GRANICZNYCH PLASKICH ZAGADNIEN KONSOLIDACJI W SWIETLE ZASTOSOWAN METOD KOMPUTERONYCH

The authors describe the application of numerical models to problems such as that of an elastic layer, of a loaded half-space for embankment fills or half-space loaded with a slab. The finite difference method is utilized, and examples of calculations with a computer are given. (TRRL)
