EVALUATION OF HIGHWAY PROJECTS
EVALUACION DE PROYECTOS VIALES
The author stresses the need to analyze the economic benefits of highway projects included in the overall planning of his country's highway network. The basic concepts used by the Ministry in highway planning and design must be supported by an accurate projection of future traffic, so that the highway is adequately designed for the safety of its users as well as for ecnonomic benefits to the area which it serves.
