The Development of Intake In-line Type Ozonizer for Application to HCCI Combustion

HCCI 燃焼への適用に向けた吸気インライン型オゾナイザの開発

The addition of ozone gives the improvement of the combustion stability to a part of HCCI combustion conditions. The authors manufactured an intake in-line type ozonizer for a gasoline engine, and evaluated the effect to HCCI transient combustion by a single cylinder engine. In this presentation, they report the features of the developed ozonizer and the results of the HCCI combustion experiment.HCCI の一部の燃焼領域では,オゾンを供給する事により自着火性能や燃焼速度の向上が得られる.そこで我々はガソリンエンジンの吸気系への装着を想定した車載用オゾナイザを試作し,単気筒エンジンにおけるHCCI 過渡燃焼試験で効果を検証した.本発表では試作したオゾナイザの特徴及び燃焼試験結果について報告する.
