Methods for Functional Integration of Safety Management Systems of Traffic and Supply Chains

Problems of integration of traffic safety management system and security and protection of logistic (supply) chains, cannot be solved without the application of appropriate methodological base and tools that can cope with the complexity of these problems. In this paper and accompanying research consider the possibilities of improvement of the level of traffic security management system integrity and security and protection of supply chains. The conceptual model of an Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) and modified CLIOS (Large Complex Integrated Open Systems) methodology provide an initial framework needed to solve the integration problems. The design and implementation of SMS in different domains (managing emergency services, protection of information systems, air traffic safety, etc.) have been studied in several projects and several doctoral dissertations at leading universities. The focus of these studies is to describe the problems of integration and testing method of functional integration of traffic safety management systems and safety of supply (logistic) chains in a globalized environment. Along with general systemic (SoS - System of Systems) approach and modified CLIOS method, the basis for the development of partial systems that are well connected to each other horizontally and vertically is created. Particularly researched is the problem of promoting the safety culture of ISMS.
