PROJECT PLAN: OPERATIONAL EVALUATION OF TERMINAL ATC WITH DABS
This report describes a two-phase effort intended to complement the on-going DABS technical tests by assessing the operational implications and man-machine interactions when DABS is integrated with the ARTS III system. The effort includes simulated and live runs with the participation of ATC controllers, and an analytical evaluation of the effect of DABS on aircraft separation requirements, ATC procedures, and controller workload.
