In the Driver's Seat: Development and Implementation of an e-Learning Module on Return-to-Driving After Stroke

Return-to-driving guidelines suffer from gaps in knowledge by many, including Australian health professionals who work in the field of stroke and require education regarding these guidelines. The implementation of an e-learning module is evaluated here. In order to assess the e-module's success in achieving its learning objectives, a pre- and post-module knowledge test and survey were utilized. Of the 204 learners who completed the module, 68% scored 100% in the post-module test, and only 12 learners finished the survey. It is recommended by the authors that access to this e-module be provided to health professionals other than occupational therapists, and in order to improve results of knowledge tests, a review on e-module structure should be required.
