A Study on Controlling Method of Providing Useful Information to Driver Based on Estimating Driving Workload Considering Individual Differences
個人差を考慮した運転負担推定に基づくドライバへの情報制御手法
To respond to the needs for utilizing information safely while driving, the authors studied a system that controls useful information properly in response to driving workload. First, they devised a new method which adds the correction by individual differences to VACP that is the method of estimating workload uniquely from characteristics of driving workload. Secondly, the authors verified the effectiveness of the system that controls information based on the new method by implementing the system into driving simulator.走行中の安全な情報活用ニーズに応えるため,ドライバの運転負荷に基づいて適正に提示情報を制御するシステムを考える.周囲状況から一義に負荷を推定する手法であったVACPに,個人差による補正を加える新手法を考案し,これを基にした提示情報を制御するシステムをドライビングシミュレータ上に実装して有効性を検証した.
