High Efficiency and Clean Diesel Combustion Using Double Premixed Ignition (Third Report)

二段着火予混合燃焼を活用した高効率クリーン ディーゼル燃焼(第3報)

In the previous papers, a combustion system which reduces emissions, noise and fuel consumption using premixed charge compression ignition (PCCI) with split injection of fuel was reported. The keys of this combustion system are the timing and amount of the second injection. In this paper, in-cylinder visualizations and numerical simulations showed that the oxidation of rich flame is accelerated and the soot formation in the near nozzle region is inhibited under the best second injection timing condition with an adequate injection interval. Combustion noise spectra analysis found that a noise canceling occurs between two peaks of pressure rise rate.既報では二段噴射予混合燃焼により低エミッション,低燃費,低騒音を実現した燃焼系を報告した.この燃焼系の実現には2nd噴射の噴射時期・量を最適化することが必要だが,低エミッション,低騒音となる機構が未解明であった.本報では筒内可視化,数値シミュレーション,FFT解析を用いてその機構を解明した結果を報告する.
