A Study on Hybrid Control Method for Improvement of Fuel Economy and Exhaust-gas Temperature of Hybrid Trucks

ハイブリッドトラックの燃費と排出ガス温度を同時に向上させるハイブリッド制御方法の検討

The engine load of a commercial hybrid truck is reduced by using assist of a hybrid electric motor. Fuel economy of this hybrid truck is improved with the assist. On the other hand, exhaust-gas temperature is decreased, and it has a negative effect on the purification performance of aftertreatment system. In this report, firstly, fuel economy and exhaust-gas emission of an actual commercial hybrid truck were measured by chassis dynamometer. Secondly, control methods to improve fuel economy and exhaust-gas temperature of the hybrid truck were investigated by using "Hybrid powertrain test bed system". The results show that the engine of the hybrid truck was operated in the range of high efficiency, fuel economy and exhaust-gas temperature of the hybrid truck were improved, compared to a diesel truck.HEVトラックは,走行エネルギをエンジンと電気モータで分け合い燃費向上を図っている.エンジンのエネルギ減少は排出ガス温度の低下を招き,排出ガス後処理装置の触媒浄化性能に影響を及ぼす.そこで,排出ガス温度の低下を防ぎつつ燃費向上を図るHEVアシスト制御について,台上ハイブリッド試験装置を用い検討した.
