Development of Ammonia Meter for Urea-SCR System Using 1.5μm Diode-Laser Absorption Spectroscopy

1.5μm 帯半導体レーザ吸収分光法を用いた尿素SCR システム用アンモニア計測器の開発

In order to develop a compact and low-cost ammonia meter for research, development and evaluation of urea-SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems for diesel exhaust after-treatment, a prototype optical measurement instrument that consists of a near-infrared (1510nm) fiber-coupled tele-communication diode laser, a multi-pass absorption cell (path length 13.2m), and a compact lock-in detection module was designed and constructed. Calibration tests using room-temperature N₂-diluted ammonia sample gases successfully demonstrated the instruments’ linearity over a concentration range from 1ppm to 1600ppm with few percent repeatability and 0.5sec measurement response. The real-time measurement of 50ppm or 1600ppm ammonia diluted with diesel-exhaust was successfully demonstrated.尿素SCRシステム用の小型・安価・高応答のアンモニア濃度計測器を開発するため,近赤外(1510nm)半導体レーザ,マルチパスセル,ロックイン検出モジュールからなるプロトタイプ計測器を製作し,ディーゼル排気中アンモニア濃度の実時間計測,濃度検定曲線(5~1600ppm)の作成,計測感度の検討を行った.
