A SURVEY OF CN ROADCRUISER BUS PASSENGERS IN NEWFOUNDLAND

The major objectives of the survey were to identify who is using the service, where are they travelling and for what purpose. A total of 543 personal interviews were conducted with passengers on a representative sample of buses. This report is organized into four chapters. The first contains an introduction and a summary of the major findings of the analysis. The analysis itself looks first at the characteristics of roadcruiser passengers. It then proceeds to examine the pattern of trips made on the service. Finally it examines the travel alternatives available to passengers. A copy of the questionnaire used in the survey is appended to the report. (TRRL)
