Environmental Driving Adaptive Battery Management System for Idling Stop Vehicle

アイドリングストップ車用走行環境適応型 バッテリーマネージメントシステム

Idling stop system and charging control system have been established widely as an efficient measure to improve fuel efficiency for conventional powertrain vehicles. The effect of charging control system is higher at lower SOC (State Of Charge) of the lead acid battery. However, if Idling stop system works at the same time, SOC becomes lower level and makes it difficult to maintain two functions. The purpose of this study is to satisfy both functions by appropriate SOC control based on driving environment and to improve fuel efficiency.ハイブリッド車以外の燃費向上技術として,普及拡大しているシステムに充電制御とIS(Idling Stop)がある.鉛バッテリを用いた充電制御は低いSOC(電池容量)に制御すれば効果が上がるが,IS を同時に行うとSOC が更に低下し,両立が困難となる.本研究の目的は走行環境に応じ適切にSOC を管理することで両制御の両立を実現し燃費を向上させる.
