Tire Surface-profile Inspection System Using Information of “Tire KANAGATA (die) Design”


The authors have developed a new tire surface-profile inspection system that has the following two features: Firstly, the “Tire KANAGATA (die) Model” can be used to adjust the variation of data statistically. Secondly, the interactive interface for human inspectors with the inspection system is introduced for the efficient and flexible construction of the “Tire KANAGATA (die) Model” for newly designed tires. Using these features, the usability of the auto-inspection system is improved, with no oversight, minimum over-detection, and efficiency for teaching set-up.タイヤ外形形状検査装置を開発した.考案した「タイヤ金型モデル」に基づいた外形形状の統計的な自動計算手法と,新規タイヤにも効率的且つ柔軟に対応できる人間・機械協調型のユーザインタフェースが特徴である.本特徴により,見落し無し・過検出最小の自動検査を実現し,新規タイヤへのティーチング操作も効率化した.
