A Study on the Vehicle Stiffness for Reducing the Steering Correction

修正操舵を低減する車両剛性に関する研究

It is well-known that the vehicle stiffness has great influences on the vehicle dynamic performance. However, it is difficult to measure the objective effect of it in the vehicle dynamic standard test and to design it quantitatively. In this paper, the objective indicator “steering correction” which is the closed loop dynamic test and has relation with the vehicle stiffness is defined. Two relationships between the vehicle stiffness and the steering response and between the steering response and the steering correction are clarified by the new idea and the driving simulator. By combining these results, the objective relationship between the steering correction and the vehicle stiffness is clarified. Finally, the proto car made by using these relations achieved the top level of this performance.車体やシャシーの剛性(車両剛性)違いでの操舵に対する車両応答の微小な変化と,車両応答の違いがコーナーを走行しているドライバーのハンドル操作修正量(修正操舵)へ与える影響を組み合わせることで,これまで難しいとされてきた車両剛性と車両運動性能の定量的な関係の一つを示した.
