International Commercial Drone Regulation and Drone Delivery Services

This document examines international drone laws and obstacles to using drones for delivery service. It is found that regulation differs from country to country but some similarities include drone registration, restricted zones, insurance, and having a pilot's license. Data includes: drone regulation/legislation approaches by country and international drone laws by country. For each country information is included on line of sight operation requirements, flight over populated areas, insurance requirements, licensing or training requirements for pilots, distribution of goods, registration requirements, and obstacles to drone delivery use. In most countries the biggest obstacle to drone delivery services is the requirement that drones be in the pilot's visual line of sight.
