Part IV of the "sigmo" study (stadsgewestelijk individueel geschat model, or individually estimated conurbation model) covers the results of estimations of models for "home based other" trips. These are all trips starting from home or ending at home which are not trips to the regular workplace or regular school trips. An overview is given of the data used in the sigmo study: the home interview study, level of service data for the different transport systems and land use data for the study area. Results of the mode-split model estimations; distribution models; generation models; and conclusions and recommendations for future research are presented. (TRRL)
