Accelerated Innovation Deployment (AID) Demonstration Project: HFST in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area
This report documents the Oklahoma Department of Transportation demonstration grant award for the installation of High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) at three metropolitan Interstate sites using fully automated methods. The report presents details relevant to the employed project innovation(s), the overarching Technology and Innovation Deployment Program (TIDP) goals, performance metrics measurement and analysis, lessons learned, and the status of activities related to adoption of HFST as conventional practice by Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
