Social Economic, Sustainability, and Human Factors in Transit

This issue contains eight papers concerning social economic, sustainability, and human factors in transit. Specific topics are as follows: social equity implications of a transit planning tool; public transit market research of low-income commuters; transit corridor livability; and a transit-oriented development definition based on context-sensitive paradigm. Additional topics include investigating spatial variations in activity space; decision support for transit-oriented development projects; spatial firm demographic microsimulator; and global urban passenger travel demand and CO₂ emissions.
