Intrigued by a warts-and-all article in this magazine two years ago, George Collins spent a day sampling the services of Hinckleybus, the Arriva Midlands offshoot whose fleet includes now quite elderly Wright Cadets and whose routes serve settlements once guarded by Roman centurions.
