INFLUENCES ON AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN

The influences on automotive design are numerous and varied. They emanante from both inside and outside the company and are often in direct conflict with one another. The paper discusses some of the more important among them, including financial constraints, performance standards, legislation, manufacturing operations, the market place, and others.
