THE SIGNIFICANCE OF MEDIA UNCERTAINTIES FOR THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF TRAFFIC EDUCATION

A plea is made for the use of uniform technical language in the field of scientific pedagogy, above all in the fields of media didactics and media pedagogy. A critical analysis of appropriate problems should be undertaken with structural comprehension, which in view of its scientific usefulness must be generally understandable, sensible and practical. The work is concerned with analysis of the following problems; establishment of traffic educational theory on the basis of critical rationalism (principle of value freedom, object directed learning, traffic education as a system of optimal strategy theories for the achievement of learning goals), the idea of the "medium", the theoretical situation and the contrary areas of media didactics, the position of media pedagogy in the centre of political analysis and the choice of media as the "moment of decision" in didactic structure analysis. Two viewpoints are provided for the judgment of didactical media: one as a carrier of information with specific directional functions without concrete goal perspectives and the other as the bricks and mortar of a strategy which can only be achieved by the introduction of media. /TRRL/
