STUDY ON LINING BEHAVIOR OF CASTING SUPPORT TUNNELING SYSTEM USING TBM BY THREE DIMENSIONAL PHASE ANALYSIS
Cast-in-place concrete lining system using TBM is called SENS. The characteristics of SENS is the construction method of the primary lining, that is, the cast-in-place concrete is placed at the space between inner form and ground; and the inner form ring is removed after the placed concrete is hardened. To clarify the lining behavior of SENS with the above mentioned unique construction process, a three-dimensional analysis model with phase analysis technique, which can take account of active earth pressure and construction process, was developed. The influence of ground and construction conditions on the displacement and sectional forces of lining were investigated by a parametric study on some properties, and the calculated results were compared with the site measured data. As a result, it was found that the proposed analysis method can represent the time dependent displacement and sectional forces of the lining of SENS reasonably. Furthermore, the influence of the ground and construction conditions on the lining behavior of SENS was made clear.
