DEVELOPMENT OF A PREDICTION METHOD FOR GROUND CONDITIONS AHEAD OF A TUNNEL FACE BY INCLINATION MONITORING AROUND A TUNNEL CROWN

トンネル天端の微小な傾斜角度の変化を用いた切羽前方地山予測手法の開発

The authors have developed a prediction method for ground conditions ahead of the face, where the inclination angle at the crown near the face is measured along with the tunnel face advances. The installation of sensors and measurement do not require borehole explorations nor blasting work around the face, therefore, do not provide any hindrance to the tunneling works either. This study systematically describes the newly developed method and its field verification test. In addition, through the numerical analysis, the prediction method with inclination variation is proved to be more sensitive to the ground conditions ahead of the face than other conventional prediction methods with displacement monitoring are. 著者らは,山岳トンネルの掘削時において,切羽近傍のトンネル天端部で傾斜角度を計測することによって,切羽前方の地山状況を予測する手法を開発した.本手法は,先進ボーリングや発破・打撃等の探査作業を伴わないため,切羽前方地山予測を簡易かつ迅速に実施できるという点で有利である.本論文では,開発した予測手法の詳細,計測機器の概要および現場実証試験の結果について体系的に詳述した.その中で数値解析を実施して,理論的には開発した手法がこれまでに実施されてきた坑内変位の計測結果を用いた予測手法に対して,予測感度の点で優れた手法であることを示した.
