Transport Networks, Land Use and Travel Behaviour: A Long Term Investigation
This focus of this thesis is on the long-term relationships between transport networks, land use and travel behaviour at a regional level. The thesis investigates these relationships using various methods in the Greater Randstad Area if the Netherlands. The thesis highlights the roles of rail and road networks, land use and spatial policies on the development of cities and the travel behavior.
